Snow Monkey: A New Kind of Saké

In the snowy mountains of Northern Japan live the Japanese Macaques—playful, resourceful, and surprisingly wise. These snow monkeys, legends say, were sent by the gods to protect sacred spaces and maintain the balance between nature and humanity. They didn’t just survive the harsh winters—they thrived, soaking in hot springs and leaning into life’s little pleasures. Their story isn’t only about survival; it’s about joy.

We took that energy and ran with it.

Saké With Soul—and a Little Sass

Saké has always been more than a drink. Rooted in ritual, brewed with care, and shared in celebration, it’s a symbol of harmony between the earthbound and the divine. We love that thought. But let’s be honest: how many of you have had saké that felt... kind of boring?

We aren't traditional. We aren't boring. And we aren't sorry. This is saké with personality; made for rooftops, BBQs, pool floats, and anyone in the mood to monkey around.

Here’s the (Southern) Twist

Snow Monkey isn’t brewed in the snowy mountains of Japan. It’s born in Arkansas, where the summers are long, the people are warm, and the rice gets a little extra sunshine. We like to think Southern hospitality pairs pretty well with centuries of Japanese craftsmanship.

Whether you’re a saké enthusiast or just here for the monkeys, we’re glad you found us. Here’s a picture of a snow monkey to convince you to try the drink named after it.
